What Impact Has Blogging Had on Your Learning So Far?
Take some time to critically reflect on the impact of Blogging on your learning Team. You've had your blogs since November last year. This is a chance to do a bit of a 'mind dump' of all the ideas, thoughts and opinions you have about blogging.
It has made it easier for me to put my learning on the blog.I can chat and challenge different people with my thinking and also its easier.Second of all you can record your learning thinking and do stuff you can't do?
I agree with you Deighkotah - being able to challenge our thinking - and other people's - is really important in how we grow as learners and teachers. :-)
What blogging has done for us is get us to learn skills we never imagined we would be using and it taught us a new ways to explore, communicate and learn, and most of all we love how we dont have to be writting in our books (boring) but on the internet its fun because we love VISUAL LEARNING!!!!!!!
And you are fabulous visual learners - and learners and teachers in general, girls. It's great to learn new ways to explore our thinking isn't it. Being able to write clearly is still important - just another way to express ourselves and it's still kind of cool to receive a handwritten note from someone. :-)
That's what I love about it too, Rhiannon - the ability to be able to go back and see what you thought about something or what you learned at a particular time and how that thinking / knowledge has changed.
I think blogging is better because you can share you learning with people around the world, not just in your class and whoever walks into your class. Also because if you've forgotten something, you can go back and look at your blog.
Sharing your learning with people is so important. The feedback you can receive is fantastic. You'll love the blogging challenge coming up Deighkotah - you'll be able to communicate and share learning with people from all over the world.
Great to read your comment boys. In what ways does blogging make you think more than if you were doing all your learning in your exercise books? I'm really interested in your thinking on this - be metacognitive. :-)
The one reason why i reconmend using a blog beacuse u can save ur work and when you come back its still their unlike our sheets ge get lost. Gideon hope
Yes, things getting lost are a problem aren't they! I know the feeling well Gideon!!! :-) How else has blogging helped in your learning or changed your learning? I've noticed that you've become so much more confident in expressing your ideas - that's a pretty cool bonus. :-)
Personally I really enjoyed blogging. Because I haven't really used computers or other electronics for learning before, so this was a great opportunity for me blogging and using computers for learning. So it's a **********/********** stars.
To me I think it is made my life so much easier, don't need to care about really losing books ,you just find everything online and personally It is so much fun blogging at my other schools I never learnt about stuff like this Capri x
How do you think it supports your learning Capri - has it changed how you feel about learning? In what ways? (I agree that it's easier to keep everything online).

Blogging is much more easier and faster! It dosent waste learning time and when you put your work onto the blog everyone can see you work instead of 2 people seeing it. Also you can keep your work on your blog for as long as you want, but if you keep it in your book at the end of the year it gets throwen out!!
